Real quick, let's flush out your week together in THREE QUICK STEPS.
First. Take a sec and look back on the week and see what you DID accomplish. Tally up your wins. Most of the time folks can tell you all the things that did not go right with the week, but are stumped on what went right! This is crazy important. So, Tally up those wins...go ahead, I'll wait.
You did all that?!!! BOOM! That's what I'm talking about!
Second. What didn't you get to this week? Was it sending that email to your rep? Yeah, I owe my manager an email too. Or was it figuring out another way to book SCANDAL? Whatever it is, let's KAI ZEN it. That's to say, let's put it back on the list for next week. But, this time with a new action.
What's one small action that you can take today that will help you achieve that goal?
Well, you didn't think I was going to let you off that easy, did you? There's still 7 more work hours in today.
Doesn't matter what small action you take towards that goal, simply take action!
But, you know what I always say THINK BIGGER!
